This post starts the Taiwan series and because I have waaay too many photos I decided to start off with something easy - my small shopping haul.






I'm not sure why I bought so many NATURAL lashes since I already have long lashes...kind of wished I bought more dramatic ones but oh well~~

Two phone plugs...I think I prefer the pearl blue one more than the leopard bow one as the two balls attached literally look like two balls =_=
These are really common everywhere in Taiwan! So many to choose from! The only downside is when you're taking a photo, the charm gets in the way.


I was thinking maybe to cut one of the balls off~Thoughts?

National Youth Week 2012 !

National Youth Week 2012
I volunteered to help out with the launch of National Youth Week this year and, gotta say, it was the most chill volunteer job I've ever done. Like literally. I don't do much except watch the performances and cheer the performers on. I thought since it was the launch of the event it'd be super busy but all the staff were well organised.

So what is National Youth Week?
It's a week long event running from Friday 13th April to Sunday 22nd April with many different events held and catered to young people of Australia. There are workshops ranging from knowing to do horror makeup and film projects and dancing and more.

One of the fun perks of volunteer positions is meeting new people =) Met a cute girl I was working with, who we found out we both share the same birthday in the same month with only 4 days apart! =O Same age too!

Possibilities of conjoined birthday parties, maybe? ;D

It's February!!!

I have the strangest habit (if you can call it that) to be posting at the strangest hour @_@

This just a rambling post about my life so far ~ GET EXCITED YO ~!!! =D

Nothing really major happened since last post so I'll just highlight the main events.

1. Celebrated my brother's birthday with this puppy cake purchased from Bread Top. They had three types available: Tiramisu, chocolate or mixed fruit. Since it was going to be a family thing, I knew my mother wouldn't eat chocolate and I wasn't sure how my brother would react to tiramisu so mixed fruit was the safest option. It actually tasted pretty good!

2. Chinese New Year - Year of the Dragon
Extremely belated but didn't really celebrate it. Just had an expensive dinner with family. Went to China Town to see the festives with friends. Went clubbing as the club was celebrating the CNY.

3. QUT Connect Training
This year I'm one of the QUT Connectors that will be helping commencing students to get to know one another and let them know about uni life in Orientation Week. At first I was real hesitant because the word 'volunteer' makes me kind of go ... >__> But when I went to first day of training it was super fun meeting other people from other faculties and learning (or rather playing) games as a way to break the ice between new people. I didn't think I would get it because in the interview they were critiquing us on our speaking skills and I stuttered a lot T__T So I was real surprised that I got it.

I can't wait to pass down knowledge that I wished I had learnt about when I was a first year uni student and meet (potential) new students in my major!!
Took a photo with this lovely girl I met in the interview and hung out with throughout the training period. She is so much fun to talk to ! <3

My goal now is to be more motivated and inspired to go to the gym more often and work on my photography skills!

[[UPDATE]] Too many O_O

It's been way too long since the last blog post so here is quick rundown:

No more blonde~!
Yes just last week I dyed my hair to some brown color lol I was getting sick of the black roots being a disgusting contrast against the 'blonde' (I don't really consider it blonde anymore, more like orangey/blonde =\) so I decided to go brown. I just used a bottle from the chemist. It didn't change my black roots but now the roots blend more nicely with the brown and don't stick out so much.

I used Schwarzkopf Perfect Mousse in Hazelnut. In a nutshell, it's shampoo type hair dye. I thought it would easier but no. I personally only recommend this to people who have short long. Medium-long hair is too annoying to use this with.

Honestly, don't the End Results look all the same?

SAMSUNG GALAXY S2
New phone~! I'm on a plan with this one. I just wanted a new phone because ... well ... the old one was ... old lol
I've noticed many of the phones on the market have pretty much similar styles and design ie. the giant touch screen and applications with a few differences in between each phone brand. My only major tiff with this phone is the keyboard for messaging! I constantly keep hitting the period/full stop button because it's right next to the space bar!! It's very annoying so my messages usually contains.something.like.this >_>

It looks prettier now since I got a light pink phone case for it =D And I got some pink themes happening !

YESSTYLE ORDER ~!!!
I will make a whole new post dedicated to my Yesstyle order~! I'm actually disappointed with one of the clothing pieces I received but more in detail later.
