This post starts the Taiwan series and because I have waaay too many photos I decided to start off with something easy - my small shopping haul.






I'm not sure why I bought so many NATURAL lashes since I already have long lashes...kind of wished I bought more dramatic ones but oh well~~


Hair care products!


Two phone plugs...I think I prefer the pearl blue one more than the leopard bow one as the two balls attached literally look like two balls =_=
These are really common everywhere in Taiwan! So many to choose from! The only downside is when you're taking a photo, the charm gets in the way.


I was thinking maybe to cut one of the balls off~Thoughts?

Small Extras

I finally received my phone plug that I ordered from ebay! It's a cute little flower and I'm expecting another one to arrive soon.
It was poorly packaged when i received it =_= Like so:

It doesn't quite sit perfectly on my phone due to my case but it's good enough =)

Annnnd also! I finally received two pairs of new circle lense: GEO Princess Mimi Chocolate Brown & GEO Cafe Latte!
Can't wait to try them~I have high hopes especially the Chocolate Brown ^^,

First Outfit Post *sweats bullets* + My First Mac =)

I love to dress up all glam every now and then and normally I'd photowhore like no tomorrow (pretty sure most self-vain girls do lol) but a lot of times I wish I could take more outfit posts. And this is the first one I've done since owning a DSLR and I must say, tripod is especially useful as times like these!!!

It doesn't look as "pro" as some of lookbook models but hey everyone starts somewhere >< Dress is from DFO. The store didn't have name just huge signs saying Clearance inside. I adore these kind of dresses lately! Especially the bottom part...I love the way it flies behind as I walk :3 My only problem would be the band around the stomach. It's super tight!! Getting into the dress is no problems but getting out is a whole different story! I feel like I need to lose more weight =( Belt: Valley Girl

This lovely "Moon and Sun" bracelet (as it called according to the tag) was from Lovisa.

These shoes are.a.pain. =_= Given to me by someone for my birthday last year. They are from the brand London Rebel. May I say, worst brand ever!!! I have personally purchased shoes from there and it is just not worth it!!
They are cheap (only reason why I bought them), has no support whatsoever inside and gives me problems whenever I wear them ie. blisters and/or almost falling over because the outer sole is easily worn out.
So why do I still have them? I have no more heels left >_< So at the moment, I am just waiting for the autumn/winter shoes to come so I can buy a similar pair then throw these out!!!

To finish off these post, I just wanted to let everyone know I am now a proud and happy owner of a Macbook Pro =) it's so beautiful <3 Took almost of my savings but it will be worth it when it comes to actually using in uni. At the moment I'm using it to watch movies LOL

[[Quick updates]] Shopping!

Really slack with blog posts lately due to working and lack of exciting things happening. But this week was great!

Started the week off with Boxing Day shopping with bf at DFO. I was really "urrrgh" when he told me he'd pick me up at 9am to go the shopping center, which turned out to be a good thing because yeah he was right! It was hard to get a car park that early! There was a lot of items on sale but I just didn't buy as much as I did last year...I just didn't find the need to buy new clothes, shoes or jewellery even if they were on sale =\ I'm so close yet so far from buying the two things that I actually want!!! (Rages!!)

But despite that, I did also buy two singlets from Jay Jay's just to wear to sleep lol and two cute mugs from DFO! One just has a heart pattern all over and the other has 3 cupcakes decorated around it =) My bf was all like,"Are you serious? Why are you buying two?! You just need one! You can just wash it and reuse it! Why buy two?!" ahahaha xD He's a believer in not wasting things or buying unnecessary things ~ *coughsforexamplemymugscoughs*

But the most expensive purchase of that day was Clinique's All About Eyes Rich eye cream. The area around my eyes have been extremely dry and it's a pain whenever I apply concealer on because the makeup just sticks onto the dry areas ><

According to the Clinique website it states:

"Moisture-rich formula diminishes the look of undereye circles, shadows, puffs and fine lines-immediately and over time. Helps protect natural collagen production. De-puffs with soothing botanicals. Even strengthens skin's moisture barrier against common irritants."

And I gotta say this eye cream is pretty amazing. It is very moisturizing! But I have yet to see anything happen to my eye bags T_T That's the only part I'm doubtful on but we will see how it goes.

Annnnnnnnnnnd finally I went to Collette today before work and bought a packet of rings for half price ! Hooray for sales! LOL I actually was looking for a silver pair of dangly earrings but couldn't find any that I liked then these caught my eyes *___* Actually it was the bow that caught my eye haha

I like 3/5 of them ~ the other two are too plain and boring >< I like simple rings like the pearl and bow.

I'm going to go shopping again tomorrow because I've got my eye on this particular dress but I want to try it on before I buy!

Online shopping Arrives~!!!! Or rather..arrived....>_>

Another late post where I post about things that happen a week AFTER it occurs harhar...

I went online shopping a few weeks ago and it seemed liked FOREVER for the items to arrive to my house, but really it was just like 4-5 weeks LOL

The first shopping parcel came through was from pinkyparadise!!!
My order only contained the Candy Doll concealer in 01 and cheek color in Strawberry Pink.

The concealer was securely wrapped in this pink foam thing but the blush was just as it is O_o

I also got a Velcro fringe thingy as a freebie from Pinkyparadise. I've wondered how they work and how they can really hold your hair back up but amazingly it does!!! xD

I gotta say this Candy Doll blush is amazing!!! I read a lot of reviews before purchasing it and thought the reviewers were exaggerating when they said the color was intense! Just one swipe and so pigmented! I used a medium-sized powder brush to brush it on and it works well for me =)


The second parcel was from pretty&cute
This was the one that was I was most keen on and again took a while to arrive. I ordered on 31st of October and arrived 2nd of December.
It arrived in a small box and delivered straight to my door by a courier but he left it on the wrong side of the house >< Thankfully I was home to pick it up. When I first opened it I couldn't seen anything except that white stuff. The items were at the bottom.

So I ordered the Dr. Jart's Blue Label Dew Drop BB Cream and Lioele Waterdop Sleeping Pack. Based on a video review by S2Janie in one of her videos, she mentioned that the Lioele sleeping pack is good for help tightening the skin and pores (or something like that) and to help the skin more youthful ~~

One thing that took me by surprise was that both bottles were sealed. I can't remember the last time I purchased something that had a seal on it like this >< So that made me feel secure knowing I got what I paid for!

I read reviews (again!) that the Dr. Jart's BB cream is good for combo-oily skin but then that what's I also read about the BB cream I'm currently using lol -the Skin79 pink one. I still find that I get oily on my t-zone even with powder on top. I did like that the Skin79 made my complexion whiter but it also had a downside.I wore it to work and had a customer say I look a bit sickly =____= which is why I went and bought blush! I want to use my Skin79 BB cream first before I start using the new one.

And finally from eBay! Telephone wire hair ties! Ever since my friend told me these type of hair ties won't leave kinks in your hair I've been really interested in them! Just looking at the design I thought it would but I suppose because it's made out of plastic that it doesn't...? It's been great tying my hair up and then just pulling it out without having to worry about that ugly kink. I bought a pack of 10 for $1.30 from a HK seller. Again took over a month ><

I'm really finally glad to have received ALL my items but I don't think I'll be ordering from pinkyparadise or pretty&cute anytime soon! I did, however, just make a purchase two nights ago on ebay for a Christmas present for someone lol ~~ fingers crossed it comes before christmas >< even a few days after christmas I wouldn't mind!

[[UPDATE]] Too many O_O

It's been way too long since the last blog post so here is quick rundown:

No more blonde~!
Yes just last week I dyed my hair to some brown color lol I was getting sick of the black roots being a disgusting contrast against the 'blonde' (I don't really consider it blonde anymore, more like orangey/blonde =\) so I decided to go brown. I just used a bottle from the chemist. It didn't change my black roots but now the roots blend more nicely with the brown and don't stick out so much.

I used Schwarzkopf Perfect Mousse in Hazelnut. In a nutshell, it's shampoo type hair dye. I thought it would easier but no. I personally only recommend this to people who have short long. Medium-long hair is too annoying to use this with.

Honestly, don't the End Results look all the same?

New phone~! I'm on a plan with this one. I just wanted a new phone because ... well ... the old one was ... old lol
I've noticed many of the phones on the market have pretty much similar styles and design ie. the giant touch screen and applications with a few differences in between each phone brand. My only major tiff with this phone is the keyboard for messaging! I constantly keep hitting the period/full stop button because it's right next to the space bar!! It's very annoying so my messages usually contains.something.like.this >_>

It looks prettier now since I got a light pink phone case for it =D And I got some pink themes happening !

I will make a whole new post dedicated to my Yesstyle order~! I'm actually disappointed with one of the clothing pieces I received but more in detail later.

Yesstyle Haul~!

So my yesstyle order finally came in today! It was pretty fast shipping too. They sent it out on Monday 28th Feb and I got it today (Thursday 3rd March). Well...I guess that's expected of express shipping =)

I post my photos and review here on blogger because the layout of tumblr isn't that great when it comes to posting photos.

So I ordered 4 dresses, 1 box of facial masks and 1 Shu Uemura eyelash curler. I had also ordered 3 other items (a tote bag, a lace belt and a beauty product) but I couldn't get them due to it being out of stock so I recommend buying items that are already in stock on the website so you can get your items quickly!

(Just a quick reference I am about 164cm tall and weigh 48kg)

First item was a Heart Patterned Hooded Knit Dress from 59 Seconds in black.

This is made from wool and is very warm when worn. Since it's summer at the moment, I've got ages until I get to wear this. It is a lil bit tad tight but hopefully after a few washes, it will stretch. As for it being a 'dress', not sure I would wear it as it is. I'd most likely wear skinny jeans or leggings underneath. The sweater dress gives no shape so it looks really awkward when worn on its own.

Keyhole Back Checkered Dress



True to the stock image! The 'keyhole' at the back of the dress is just as it is pictured...there was a part of me hoping it would be a mistake and when they send it, it's slightly modified that the hole was smaller but noooo....there's a giant gaping gap at the back of this cute dress ==" I personally don't like it but good thing i have long hair! The 'skirt' part of the dress is very warm so I believe this is more of an autumn/winter dress.

I had trouble getting into the dress at first because where the checkered part meets the black skirt, it is not a stretchy band. So I struggled for a good 5mins trying to figure out how to get of the dress without ripping it. I eventually figured out there was a zip on the left side of the dress and that made it easier to get in and out of the dress =_=

A little bit of loose threads when I received it but nonetheless true to stock image! However, that bow that is attached is actually pinned on, not stuck on.



You can also pull it apart and redo the bow if necessary.

Lace-Up Sheer Back Dress



My second favorite item! Obviously this dress is more for nightclubs than day time wear. It's tight and figure-hugging and exact same to image. The lace back seems very delicate so need to handwash rather than throwing it into the washing machine. BUT the one thing I was disappointed about was the extra bit of lace they sent (pictured below). It's suppose to 'tie up' the back of the dress but it's flimsy and seems like it will easily break. So I need to buy ribbon from the craft store or something.

Shu Umeura eyelash curler. I already have one but I wanted to replace the rubber pad on it ><

Overall, Yesstyle's quality of clothes is far better than AFW or other online fashion stores I have tried. I liked how with some of the modelled photos, they mentioned how tall and how much the model weighed (ie. the sheer lace back dress) so that gave me an idea on how it would look on me because of the similar height & weight. I'd definitely be buying from them again.

Strangely enough, I did not get charged shipping for this order. It says on the website, if you order more than $150AUD then it's FREE shipping. If it's less, then it's $9.99 for shipping. However my order came to a total of $131.40AUD and that's all I got charged for .... COOL ^^,

And the best part of this haul? Popping the bubble wrap afterwards xD

Went out to DFO today because I haven't been shopping in a long time. I don't usually shop at DFO but I felt like a change of scenery to the city and local shopping center.

I even met up with a high school friend and we went together.
Unfortunately I didn't buy much =( I was really looking forward to going to Forever New but it was a bit of disappointment when I didn't see anything I liked.

I did, however, buy a singlet and 3 pairs of sunnies. That's right. 3 PAIRS! Coz the store was having a promotion of buy 2 sunglasses & get third pair free xD Not that I needed 3 pairs but hey, I'm a girl after all ~
